Robin Warner’s engineering-bound path took a turn when he befriended an editor at Car and Driver magazine. He worked as a technical assistant at the venerable outlet while working toward his mechanical engineering degree. And that lead to a 20-plus-year whirlwind of adventures with cars all over the world, some of it as an engineer, but much of it as an editor at Car and Driver, Road & Track, and Autoweek magazines.

After piling up all of that experience, read aging, Warner left Autoweek to build his own site called Fun With Cars, and contribute to outlets like Porsche Club of America, Gear Junkie, and Autowise.

When Robin isn’t making noise with cars, he enjoys a quiet life. Working on projects in the workshop, kayaking, hiking, and tinkering.
