2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio

Like its Giulia sedan sibling, the Stelvio gets an updated 8.8-inch infotainment screen with touchscreen functionality and a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster. But unlike the Giulia, the crossover also adds a few new visual touches on the outside, including things like body-colored fender flares and side sills on the Sport model, as well as a new rear fascia treatment. The same six-cylinder engine remains, producing 280 horsepower.
2020 Aston Martin Vantage AMR

Aston Martin introduced the Vantage AMR late last year (and we drove it, actually), but the powerful two-door is a full-fledged 2020 model. Unlike its traditional counterpart, the Vantage AMR uses a seven-speed manual transmission and produces 503 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of torque from its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8. That’s good for a 60 mile-per-hour sprint of around 3.9 seconds. The AMR commands nearly a $25,000 premium over the base model – but, all 200 models are already sold out for this year. Thankfully, another manual Vantage is coming next year.
2020 Audi A5 / S5

Both the Audi A5 Sportback and its sportier S5 sibling get makeovers for the 2020 model year. On the exterior, the A5 and S5 get revised honeycomb grilles and updated bumpers, while the cabin receives a new 10.1-inch touchscreen, the latest iteration of Audi’s MMI interface. But power stays the same; the A5 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder good for 248 horsepower, while the S5 uses the same turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 good for 349 hp.
2020 Audi A6 Allroad

Audi is going all-in on wagons in the U.S., it seems. Even though the RS 6 Avant doesn’t arrive until the 2021 model year, buyers can get their hands on the A6 Allroad beginning this year. The base Premium Plus model starts at $65,900 (not including $995 for destination) and is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 good for 335 horsepower.
2020 Audi SQ7

Audi’s high-powered SQ7 family mover is coming to the U.S. this year. Complete with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, the tantalizing three-row packs 500 horsepower and can hit 60 miles per hour in 4.3 seconds. No official pricing for the U.S. was given yet, but we expect the SQ7 to start at around $53,000.

Not a fan of the SQ7? Maybe the sleeker SQ8 is more your speed. The coupe-UV is also coming to the U.S. this year. Like the SQ7, the SQ8 uses the same twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 good for 500 horsepower. This model might be a bit pricier, though; expect an asking price of around $70,000 to start.
2020 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe

BMW’s first front-drive-based sedan, the 2 Series Gran Coupe, goes on sale this year. But only Europeans will get the actual front-wheel-drive model while BMW will offer buyers in the U.S. the all-wheel-drive xDrive version exclusively. The base 228i xDrive starts at $38,495 and uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine good for 228 horsepower. The more-powerful M235i model uses the same engine but pumps out 301 hp. The range-topping 2 Series GC starts at $46,490.
2020 BMW M2 CS

Joining the 2 Series Gran Coupe, the BMW M2 CS goes on sale this year with a starting price of a whopping $85,000. But you do get a lot of bang for those bucks. The M2 CS makes 444 horsepower via a turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine, meaning it can sprint to 60 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 174 mph.
2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe

The M8 is the most powerful BMW money can buy. And it gets even more capable for 2020 with the addition of the Gran Coupe model, which tacks on two extra doors. Using the same twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 found elsewhere in the lineup, the standard M8 Gran Coupe produces 600 horsepower, while the Competition model ups that number to 617 horses. Of course, this M8 is pricey: the base M8 Gran Coupe starts at $130,000 and the Competition costs $143,000.

The fastest version of the Bentley Bentayga is also the priciest. The 626-horsepower Bentayga Speed crossover costs $235,700 to start. But, it can sprint to 60 miles per hour in about 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 190 mph.
2020 Bentley Flying Spur

The 2020 Flying Spur is a brand-new Bentley built from the ground up, now powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 producing 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. With that additional oomph, the Flying Spur can sprint to 62 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds and all the way on to a top speed of 207 mph. But all that power doesn’t come cheap; the 2020 Flying Spur starts at $214,600, and special models like the First Edition and Blackline are even pricier.
2020 Bugatti Chiron Noire

The Bugatti Chiron has been around since 2016. But this year the French hypercar maker debuted a special edition finished in black exposed carbon fiber aptly dubbed, the Noire. It still uses the same quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine, good for 1,500 horsepower, but it’s limited to just 20 units worldwide. Oh, and it costs more than $3.3 million.
2020 Buick Encore GX

Apart from a facelift and a name change, the Buick Encore GX also gets a better engine for 2020: a turbocharged 1.3-liter engine making 155 horsepower. There will also be a smaller 1.2-liter engine available, as well – but we don’t know when. The 2020 Encore GX hits Buick dealerships early this year and costs $24,100 to start.
2020 Cadillac CT4 / CT4-V

The Cadillac CT4 and its hot CT4-V sibling go on sale later this year, the base model with a starting price of $33,900 and the V with a cost of $45,490. Cadillac’s entry-level engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter good for 237 horsepower, while the Premium Luxury trim gets a 2.7-liter four-cylinder that produces 309 hp. And at the top of the range, the CT4-V pumps out 325 horses from the same turbocharged 2.7-liter engine. Both engines use the same 10-speed automatic.
2020 Cadillac CT5 / CT5-V

If it’s more power you’re after, the Cadillac CT5 and CT5-V have plenty of it. Like the CT4, the base CT5 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 237 horsepower. But unlike its less-powerful sibling, the CT5 also offers a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that pumps out 335 horses. And at the top of the range, the high-performance CT5-V uses the same twin-turbocharged six-cylinder to produce 360 hp.
2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8

We've talked a lot about the C8 Chevrolet Corvette already. And even though the sports car is not yet in production, it took home an award for North American Car of the Year. Still, the long-anticipated Corvette won't go on sale until later this year. When it does, it will have a starting price of $59,995 and 490 horsepower.
2020 Chrysler Voyager

The Chrysler Voyager is essentially just a base Pacifica. But for 2020, the company thinks that spinning the minivan off into two nameplates might help with sales. The entry-level Voyager L starts at $26,985, while the slightly better-equipped LX model costs $29,795 (before destination fees). And it still uses the same 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 and nine-speed automatic transmission.
2020 Dodge Charger GT

Like the Challenger GT before it, the four-door Dodge Charger also gets an all-wheel-drive GT trim for the 2020 model year. This version uses a 3.6-liter V6 good for 300 horsepower and comes with an asking price of $34,995. Unfortunately, a Hemi option with all-wheel drive isn't available… yet.
2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody

The Dodge Charger Hellcat has an all-new trim for 2020. The widebody variant joins the Hellcat range for the new year, which offers customers the option of more width with the same oomph. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 carries over, still producing 707 horsepower (or 717 with the limited-edition Charger Daytona). The Dodge Charger Hellcat widebody starts at $71,745.
2020 Ferrari F8 Spider

On the surface, the Ferrari F8 Spider is essentially a Tributo coupe sans roof. But with a retractable hardtop that can open and close at speeds of up to 14 miles per hour and new bodywork that improves aerodynamic efficiency by 10 percent, the F8 Spider is more than that. The F8 Spider uses the same twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 engine as the coupe, complete with 711 horsepower, and can sprint to 62 miles per hour in just 2.9 seconds. The droptop F8 costs $293,480 and is in dealerships now.

The Ferrari Roma is the brand's first fully new model, built from the ground up, to debut in a few years. And it's stunning. Bearing both the name of the country's capital city and new design cues exclusive to the coupe, the Ferrari Roma uses a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 that makes 612 horsepower. The new Ferrari Roma goes on sale this summer, and should start at around $220,000.

The Ford Escape is all-new for the 2020 model year. The base model comes powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four producing 250 horsepower, while the Hybrid uses a 2.5-liter inline-four and two electric motors to produce 198 hp. The 2020 Escape is on sale now and starts at $24,885.

Had you thought the Ford F-250 pickup wasn’t tough enough, now the company has a new Tremor trim, which turns the rugged truck into a genuine off-roader. New wheels and tires, an upgraded suspension, and additional off-road trim pieces give the F-250 Tremor its new trail-ready chops. If you want it, the most-affordable Tremor trim costs $53,390.
2020 Ford Shelby GT500

The Mustang Shelby GT500 arrives for 2020 with a supercharged 5.2-liter V8, 760 horsepower, the ability to hit 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 180 mph. It is the most impressive factory Mustang ever built, by all measures, and it costs $70,300 to start.
2020 GMC Acadia AT4

GMC promises an AT4 trim option on every model it sells by the end of the year. Obviously, that includes the Acadia. The refreshed, rugged-looking Acadia AT4 gets black wheels, off-road tires, appropriate AT4 badging, and a 3.6-liter V6 making 310 horsepower. The updated Acadia and Acadia AT4 hit GMC showrooms late last year, with the AT4 option asking $42,495 to start.
2020 Honda CR-V / Hybrid

The best-selling Honda CR-V has a new look (and a new trim level) for 2020. Darker chrome headlights, a revised front fascia, and a new Hybrid variant graces the compact crossover's lineup for 2020. The former pure gas-powered model, with its same turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 190 horsepower, costs $25,050 to start. The hybrid motor with 212 hp doesn't have an official price yet, but should start at around $28,000.
2020 Hyundai Sonata

The Hyundai Sonata has hot looks, a host of new engines, and already, a handful of award nominations for the 2020 model year. Here in the States, the Sonata comes standard with a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine, good for 191 horsepower, or offers an optional turbocharged 1.6 that produces 180 horsepower. The base Hyundai Sonata starts at $23,600, but the sedan comes with a handful of options that hike the price.

Part of Hyundai's updated lineup includes the pint-sized Venue subcompact. Powered by a 1.6-liter engine (like the Sonata) that produces 121 horsepower, the base Venue starts at $17,250. And even after options and trims, the most expensive Venue costs just north of $23,000.
2020 Infiniti QX80

You might not know simply by looking at it, but Infiniti updated its QX80 SUV for the 2020 model year. The most notable change, though, is inside; there's a new dual infotainment system in the cabin of the SUV for the first time. An 8.0-inch upper unit and a 7.0-inch lower unit give the QX80 the same tech as its siblings. The most-affordable QX80 costs $66,750 to start.
2020 Kia Niro

While the new Kia Seltos and Optima technically go on sale later next year, both are badged as 2021 models. The only updated Kia model we get for the 2020 model year is the Niro, which gets a new exterior look and some updates in the tech department. No word on pricing, but we don’t expect a dramatic uptick from the 2019 model; the 2020 Kia Niro should start at around $25,000.
2020 Lamborghini Sian

The stunning Lamborghini Sian is the supercar maker's first production electrified vehicle. It debuted at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show, complete with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 paired to a 48-volt mild-hybrid system attached – the latter makes up 34 of the vehicles total 819 horses. No word on when the Sian officially goes on sale, but merely 63 lucky customers will get their hands on one.
2020 Land Rover Defender

Land Rover's long-awaited Defender debuted late last year, with power coming from either a base four-cylinder engine or a more-powerful turbocharged inline-six. The interior of the Defender is ripe with technology borrowed from other products in the Jaguar Land Rover portfolio, while the exterior keeps things rugged with 11.5 inches of ground clearance and 35.4 inches of water wading abilities. The new Land Rover goes on sale in a few months with a starting price of $49,900.
2020 Lexus RC F / Track Edition

The Lexus RC F gets a new look for 2020. Fresh headlights, a revised spindle grille, and new LED taillights give the new RC F more style than its predecessor. Not to mention there's more power, too. The 5.0-liter V8 now produces 472 horsepower – a five horsepower uptick over the last version. But brand new for 2020 is the RC F Track Edition, which sheds 176 pounds compared to the 2018 car and gains a host of new carbon fiber treatments.
2020 Mazda CX-30

Shoehorned between the CX-3 and CX-5, the new Mazda CX-30 is a unique take on Mazda’s classic crossover formula. Using the new Mazda3 as its base, the CX-30 borrows the same 2.5-liter engine and six-speed automatic transmission, as well as the Mazda3’s same updated cabin, as well. The CX-30 is currently on sale, and costs $21,900 to start.
2020 Mazda MX-30

The Mazda MX-30 borrows a few cues from the CX-30 – the rugged fenders and coupe-like styling in particular. But what the MX-30 doesn't have that its more-traditional counterparts do is a gas engine; the MX-30 is fully electric. The compact crossover uses a single electric motor generating 143 horsepower, paired to a 35.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Total driving range is 130 miles. No word on pricing or when it will be available in the U.S., but we expect a price tag of around $35,000 when it arrives.
2020 McLaren Elva

The Elva makes all other McLaren models look tame by comparison. The open-top two-seater uses McLaren's signature twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, with 804 horsepower routed through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It takes less than three seconds for the Elva to hit 62 miles per hour, besting even the Senna. Of course, this impressive McLaren has an equally awe-inspiring price tag of $1.7 million.
2020 McLaren GT

McLaren introduced the GT to change the grand tourer segment. Not only does it offer a bit of practicality, but it also provides "true supercar" performance with a powerful new twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 making 620 horsepower. It can hit 62 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds. But performance is only one part of the equation. There’s now a storage shelf where you’d typically find the engine in a McLaren, which can carry a set of golf clubs. The front trunk offered the most space you’ll find in a McLaren.
2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB

Slotted between the GLA and GLC, the aptly named Mercedes-Benz GLB arrives as a boxy alternative to the two crossovers mentioned. The base model, powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, produces 221 horsepower. The more-powerful AMG GLB 35 uses that same engine to produce 302 hp. The latter model doesn’t have a price yet, but the base GLB costs just $36,600 to start.
2020 Mini Cooper SE

The Mini Cooper should make an excellent electric vehicle, what with its relatively small size and low weight. Well, Mini’s latest attempt at electrifying its iconic city car is called the Cooper SE, and it somehow manages to subvert that expectation, to say the least. The vehicle’s range is a disappointingly low 110 miles, while its $29,900 base price is still relatively high. Federal and state incentives may bring its price down, depending on where you live, but nothing will fix its range that, in 2020, is remarkably low compared to other compact electric cars like the 259-mile Chevy Bolt. But for those few people who must have an electric Mini, the Cooper SE now exists.
2020 Mini John Cooper Works GP

Mini’s most-powerful model – the 302-horsepower John Cooper Works GP – debuted last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Packing a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, the JCW GP sprints to 60 miles per hour in just 5.1 seconds and costs $44,900 to start. It goes on sale later this year.
2020 Nissan Sentra

The 2020 Nissan Sentra is all-new, with styling that matches other recently unveiled Nissans such as the Altima and Rogue. The same V-Motion family grille, slim headlights, and a floating roof are all here with the Sentra. A new platform lowers the car while a slightly more powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine replaces the outgoing 1.8-liter. The new mill makes 149 horsepower, and it pairs with a CVT. Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 is also standard. A range-topping Sentra SR adds sport 18-inch wheels, darkened grille, and more.
2020 Nissan Versa

Sedan sales, especially small ones, are suffering at the hands of larger crossover, SUVs, and trucks, but that hasn’t stopped Nissan from turning the all-new Versa into a very compelling offering. New styling borrowed from the larger Altima on the outside compliments the Nissan Kicks-inspired interior. Keyless entry with push-button start is standard as is Nissan’s Safety Shield 360. A 122-horsepower, 1.6-liter – also featured in the Kicks – powers the front wheels through either a five-speed manual or CVT.
2020 Porsche 911

The new Porsche 911 debuted relatively early in 2019, but already it promises to be one of the most talked-about sports cars of 2020. With the base model producing 379 horsepower, and with assurances fro variants like the upcoming hybrid model of being, the "highest-performing" of all the 911s, there's a lot to still look forward to. For now, the base 911 is already on sale and costs $97,400 to start.
2020 Porsche Taycan

The Porsche Taycan is an all-new model for 2020 and becomes this famous performance car brand’s first all-electric car for sale. Based on the well-received Mission E concept car, the Taycan looks like a futuristic Porsche sports sedan on the outside, and its interior is festooned with maybe more screens than any other production car. The Taycan is available in three models – Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S – with each offering increasing levels of performance. More speed, though, also means a higher price (substantially so, in this case) and decreasing range.
Prices start at $103,800 for the 4S, $150,900 for the Turbo, and $185,000 for the Turbo S, while two battery packs are available – one 79.2 kWh and one 93.4 kWh. The EPA has certified the Taycan Turbo has a range of 201 miles and the Turbo S a range of 192 miles, while the 4S, which likely has the longest range, has yet to be rated.
2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel

The Ram 1500 itself isn't new, but the truck's optional diesel powertrain is. The updated 1500 EcoDiesel arrived in 2019 promising 22 miles per gallon in the city, 32 on the highway, and 26 combined. With the available 33-gallon, the 1500 EcoDiesel has more than 1,000 miles of estimated range. The EcoDiesel engine is a $4,995 option atop the normal 1500; the most-affordable EcoDiesel model is the base Tradesman quad cab model, which costs $36,930 with the optional engine.
2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge

Just when you thought the Rolls-Royce Cullinan couldn't get any more opulent, the company added a posh Black Badge trim to the crossover for 2020. With a starting price of $382,000, the Cullinan Black Badge is the most expensive of the bunch, but comes with new darkened trim pieces, an upgraded interior, and a more-powerful twin-turbocharged 6.7-liter V12 good for 600 horsepower.
2020 Subaru Outback

The 2020 Subaru Outback may not look all-new, but underneath the familiar, though tweaked sheet metal is a new platform. Models either receive a turbocharged 2.4-liter with 290 horsepower or a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder making 182 hp. Both mills pair with a CVT and all-wheel drive. Changes are more noticeable inside with a portrait-oriented 11.6-inch infotainment screen. Every trim receives Subaru’s Eyesight safety suite.
2020 Toyota Avalon TRD / Camry TRD

Both the Toyota Camry and Avalon get a sporty TRD upgrade for 2020. The Camry TRD sports a new wing, fresh TRD wheels, and its same 3.5-liter V6 producing 301 horsepower – now at a cost of $31,995. The Avalon TRD, meanwhile, gets a similar treatment in the form of new TRD wheels, upgraded side sills, and a revised suspension, all for $42,375. Both cars are currently on sale.
2020 Toyota Highlander

Toyota introduced an all-new Highlander as three-row crossovers remain sales kings. The all-new model, which rides on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA)) family, presents an evolutionary design that’s familiar, borrowing from the RAV4 and Avalon. There are two powertrains – gas or gas-electric hybrid. The 3.5-liter V6 carries over unchanged. The hybrid uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder instead of the previous gen’s 3.5-liter V6. The hybrid's Horsepower is down, but it makes up for it with improved fuel economy.
2020 Volkswagen Passat

Volkswagen didn’t do much to update the Passat for 2020. Instead, the company kept changes to a minimum – LED headlights and taillights, a new grille, and a slightly sloped roofline. Seventeen-inch alloys are standard with 18- and 19-inch units available. Volkswagen also dropped the V6 engine, leaving the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder from the previous year, making 174 horsepower. But torque is up from 184 pound-feet to 207 lb-ft.
